One year ago, Kristian and I ventured to San Juan, Puerto Rico to join 80+ family and friends who gathered in a tropical haven to celebrate Kendra and Claire’s wedding weekend. Colorful, romantic and truly memorable, the wedding was filled with special memories for all who participated. In addition to wishing the brides a very happy anniversary, I wanted to share some Celebrate Everyday highlights:
Show Stopping Pops of Color
The wedding’s color palette was warm, bright and adventurous, just like the brides!
The ceremony and reception featured hot pink and coral decor accents, accessories and flowers galore. Bridesmaids modeled Wtoo dresses and carried coordinating parasols down the aisle (Did I mention I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid?) You even saw pops of color in the brides accessories, sashes and shoes.
Flowers of Paradise, Roses and other local blooms, frosted the event space and the bridal bouquets.
A Hacienda or Heaven?
The Hacienda Siesta Alegre was truly a one of kind location and one in a million experience for everyone who attended.
The space boasted bright spanish tiles, impressive gardens, indoor/outdoor event spaces, a pool table and a cozy fireplace with lounge furniture for guests to relax and take in the ambiance. The venue was complete with an in ground pool and fountain that guests may have found themselves in by the end of the evening. You couldn’t beat dancing under stars with a coconut drink in hand in the middle of the rainforest.
Secret Agent/Mission Impossible Theme
Their secret agent themed was carried through their invites, website, programs and reception decor. The ring bear even carried the rings in a safe! Super creative.
SECRET AGENT GUEST WEBSITE: kenvoe.wix.com/wedding
With so many logistics to handle from hotel stays to day trips; these brides put together an incredibly user-friendly and informative website. They made being a “guest” easy and FUN. In fact they even utilized their online portal to survey guests about their preferences.
Everything from restaurant recommendations to pre-arranged Puerto Rico excursions were all available to sign-up for on the KenVoe website. Kristian and I LOVED the midnight bioluminescent kayak excursion, the waterfall and rainforest hike and their suggested trip to historical San Juan. All were amazing.
Bridal Beauties
And now for the brides! Their gowns were both stunning, complete with colorful accessories that took everyone’s breath away. Kendra modeled a striking Coco Anais ball gown, complete with romantically layered pick-ups and a hot pink sash. Claire, wore a Tara Keely, a-line gown drapped in lace and decorated with a coral, bejeweled belt.
Sending all my love to Kenvoe on their one year wedding anniversary.
Thank you for all the amazing secret agent and Puerto Rico memories.
With Celebration & Puerto Rico Love,
Rae
