Halloween Happenings

The day is upon us, folks. Every year I forgot how much I love Halloween until about 3 days before. Then, inevitably, I jam pack all my favorite halloween activities in those far too few days. This year those activities included homemade Halloween dog treats, pumpkin carving, dressing up, and my favorite past time of any holiday, pictures of my favorite little pups.

Here are some pictures from the last few days of Halloween bliss. Enjoy!

First up: homemade “howl”ween dog treats!

I made a few batches for my dogs, and then had some left over to send to my aunt and uncles dogs. Also, I had to pop into my neighbors to let their dog out. So I took the chance to make a goodie bag for Rusty as well.

Then Pete and I did some pumpkin carving, which is one of my favorite halloween activities. Can you guess which one Pete did?

And then the most delicious part of carving pumpkins. Garlic pumpkin seeds!

Then it was time for some serious dress up. Pete and I were cops and robbers, a Halloween classic.

And the pups got in on the fun too. The cutest blind mice I have ever seen!

Tonight we will celebrate our finally hours of Halloween by eating broccoli AFRAIDo, and for dessert an array of Halloween cereals (yummy mummy, boo berry, count chocula, and Frankenberry) while watching Hocus Pocus.

Now, I’m exhausted.
