This week is all about celebrating our fathers and father figures that have made a positive impact in our lives. Are you in search of thoughtful activities? Try any of the following and I am sure you’ll receive rave reviews!
Take me out to the ball game
If you live in New York or Boston, professional baseball tickets are tough to come by and are at times (aka when the Sox are winning) super pricey. Don’t let this steer you away from a sports activity that is loved by so many fathers coast to coast. Try reserving tickets for your local, Triple-A, College or even high school baseball game. Finish the day with a baseball themed dinner – hotdogs, pretzels, beer and popcorn are a must!

From Ben Franklin to Frank Lloyd Wright…
If your dad is into American or World history buff, arrange a trip to your local historical site or attend a seminar together. From Revolutionary War sites to architecture tours, the options are endless. Still at a loss, check out your local chamber of commerce website.

Scotch Tasting Anyone?
So maybe your dad isn’t into sports or history, but it is hard to find a man who won’t at least try scotch. Scotch tastings are a little tougher to come by and require a bit more research to locate the appropriate venue. That being said, Johnny Walker never fails! Just make sure you have someone to drive you home safely.
